THE DISABILITY CONNECTION:

The Disability Connection is online community created by the Middle Georgia Center for Independent Living, Inc. (d.b.a. Like Emergency Preparedness:

And so much more!!!

Why You Should Join Us

The Middle Georgia Center for Independent Living, Inc. (d.b.a. Disability Connections) is offering The Disability Connection, our new and exciting online community!  This is your opportunity to join us to get the latest information affecting our independence as individuals with disabilities.  Initial membership  is made available for free to those with disabilities in our service area and for others, a nominal fee.  You will get to partake in "independent Living University iLU" learning courses to increase your skills in many aspects of living.  Content is continually being added.  We also host live virtual events, blogs and the latest information on a wide variety of topics.   You will also be able to chat and interact with other members with and without disabilities.  You will get to see really great and exciting technology in our "Tool For independence" section and join many other exciting groups on The Disability Connection!   We hope you join us and get involved with us together on our mutual journey for independence (or sometimes we like to call it: interdependence), to improve our lives and opportunities in our community.
